Domaso is a lively and pretty town located at the northern end of Lake Como, at the mouth of the Livio stream. The village spreads out on a small promontory in front of the Gulf of Colico, so that they seem complementary.
From a traditional fishing village, it has become over time one of the most hospitable towns on the lake. Here you will find many well-equipped campsites, suitable for a young, sporty crowd.
Think that Domaso is one of the most beloved places for windsurfers, so that it is also called WIND PARADISE. Here, in fact, the wind gets intense at times, creating exciting conditions even for the most experienced.
The town is also famous for being home of one of the rare typical Lake Como wines, the Domasino, already appreciated centuries ago by Roman settlers. Its production, which is still a family-run business so far, is growing steadily and is now around 30,000 bottles a year.

A fantastic experience not to be missed in Domaso! A boat trip on the traditional two-masted La Vela Rossa, a perfectly restored historic vessel with wonderful purple sails.
The vessel is run by Klaus Eitel and his wife, two truly exquisite germans in love with Lake Como. You can simply enjoy the trip or actively participate in the maneuvers, learning the basics of sailing. The ship carries a maximum of eight people per tour, and each tour lasts from two to six hours. Klaus also offers the possibility of private and exclusive tours.
