Impressive tower of the Middle Age that survived the demolitions decreed at the end of the 18th century.
It was part of the fortified village, triangular in shape, erected since the time of Azzone Visconti. Today only the tower remains of the ancient Visconti castle.
On the ground floor, the living quarters of the guardhouse and some stone cannonballs are still visible.
The second floor is used as a space for temporary exhibitions by Si.M.U.L and the Lecco City Council's Department of Culture
Regardless of the proposed temporary exhibitions, the tower is also worth a visit for its spectacular architectural structure.
