Of the same period are some pagan tomb-stones now embodied into the wall of the vestibule of the church. The early Christianizing of the area is witnessed by the Baptistery, which stands detached form the church, and by some tomb-stones immured into the walls of the underneath Crypt, which carry the date 535 and 571.
Of the 14th and 15th centuries are the water basin at the main entrance and some fragments of a fresco depicting the worship of the Magi (Wise men) together with the altar with the beautiful altarpiece depicting the martyrdom of Saint Stephen.
