If you are cruising in the northern part of Lake Como and are looking for a restaurant with an easy landing, affordable prices and a good setting, we recommend Ristorante la Baia in Cremia.
Restaurant La Baia
Frazione San Vito,
22010 Cremia (CO)
coordin. 46.088063, 9.278225
Very easy to reach if you are departing by boat from Dervio, the restaurant is on the opposite shore of the lake. Docking the boat is easy, the pier wide and the harbour with little traffic.
In summer, you can sit under a large panoramic place, directly on the lake: the view will make dining a pleasure.
Great attention is paid to the presentation of the courses, on some occasions even spectacular.
We enjoyed a good perch rice, served in a characteristic pan, followed by typical Lake Como fish. The value for money is definitely excellent.
Not to be missed: Rice at the Storico Ribelle. Storico Ribelle is a highly prized bitto cheese produced according to ancient traditions, which is grated over the risotto at the moment. The risotto has a spectacular creaminess, with a Sassella reduction.
Momento show in the serving of ice cream: they prepare it at the moment directly at your table, amidst spectacular fumes of liquid nitrogen.
Small plus: there are certain small attentions to the customer that really make the difference; they bring the sorbet to your table, but at the same time they left the bottle of Braulio available for us, for those who wanted a refill
Another treat on the way out. They present you with fresh pastries for breakfast the next day.
To keep in the diary for those sailing in the area at dinnertime.
